Popcaan Entertains Fans With A Very Jamaican Lunch: ‘Handmade’ Bully Beef Sandwich
There’s always an element of intrigue when Popcaan uploads a video to Instagram and the Unruly Boss seldom ever disappoints. In the Dancehall artiste’s latest video, which was uploaded yesterday October 27, he does one of the most Jamaican things that can be done.
The singer shared a video showing himself making a sandwich by hand and what made it uber Jamaican was what he made it with, a favorite of the Caribbean, corned beef. He captioned the post, “survival is the key”. The area of Jamaica he was in hasn’t been revealed but it appears to be a more rural part of the island.
He explained to the recorder that he was using his hands because he had no fork and “we just a use we hand mek fashion.”
He added: “And over Africa, a so the people dem slap weh food enuh.” He then requests some coconut water to wash down his meal.
‘Bully Beef’ or corned beef sandwiches are a classic Jamaican lunch. Many people throughout the Caribbean, are fans of corned beef and it often forms parts of school lunches or quick dinners and is prepared in many different ways. Some people like to dress it up with onions, peppers, and other fresh herbs while others simply heat it up straight from the tin with salt and some black pepper. Some others must have it with ketchup.
Dancehall fans were clearly entertained, as some praised the FIXTAPE deejay for being innovative and down to earth and choosing a classic island sandwich.

Meanwhile, in another well liked Instagram entry, Popcaan showed off his abs in a series of three photos.
The deejay posed shirtless with a towel on his team, poolside which female fans certainly took notice of, with comments like, “Poppy, you been in the gym” and “How u look sexy so???”
“Look at bae six pack coming innn ❤️😍🤣,” added one admirer.
