Iconic reggae singer Jah Cure has now joined other popular Jamaican entertainers by taking up vlogging but with a twist.  Cure has launched a series of adventure vlogs that will feature travel and authentic Jamaican lifestyle, with natural cooking being the focal point.

The Longing For singer recorded his first video on a seaside where he is seen working on his makeshift woodfire grill which he uses to roast breadfruit and freshly caught fish with a group of friends.

“Yeah a breakfast man a deal with enuh…fix me ah fix up my breakfast, unu know me love my life already,” Cure said.

Unable to wait on his fish to complete roasting he sampled a slice of buttered roasted breadfruit. Having appealed to his tastebuds, Jah Cure uttered, “all men die, only a few ever live. Live your life today.”

Jah Cure, whose real name is Siccature Alcock, gave his viewers a taste of the traditional rural Jamaican lifestyle in the first episode.  The singer connected with many when he said if they knew what hard life is then they would understand how delicious buttered breadfruit tasted.

“Poor people food ah di best food,” he exclaimed.

One fan commented “yow the I them mek me mouth a run wata right now fi some a that. It reminded me of my bwoy days in Islington St Mary. Me long fi some good food like that” while another said, “poor people food is the best food. True that.”
