Dancehall artiste Intence has released a new single Grimey with One Time Records, which adopted the flow and composition of American rapper Def Loaf’s 2014 hit single Try Me. The new production debuted on YouTube today and is already streaming pretty well, racking up almost 100,000 views and counting.

Intence’s rendition has a subdued beat to the original track but plays on the same rhythm. The lyrics however are different and a little more Grimey.

The YengBadness deejay sings, “Try me, show dem di real meaning ah Grimey” then goes on to unbridle his venom, “Di AK ah play in a sm’bady body, lef dem fold up like di man 90, condolences to the family, you know me sarry, body look crawny dem haffi embalm eh.” Listen more below.

The music video launches to see the deejay accessorized with a grand piece of heavy machinery as he boards a midsize yacht. The rest of the visuals flicker between what looks like an easy-going day at the beach with friends and beautiful girls to a gothic murder scene with Intence as the executioner.

Directed by Noel at OneTime, shot by Banks Films and chopped by Saint Mula, prepare for some disturbing simulations of vicious killings, blood splatter and the semblance of a very merciless and Grimey Intence.

The fans that have tuned in so far, has had a lot to say. While some recap some of the deejay’s inventive lyrics, others picked up on a couple of things; one being Dej Loaf’s original song and another being a Vybz Kartel diss.

YouTube viewer, Polo Brand repeated the verse with the discovery, “Funeral 6 fren a bring dem body. Mac 11 sing dem think a shorty.. Who miss di diss dem.. Yeng🔥🔥,” and Ricio Conceited added, “Mac 11 sing yuh tink ah shawty‼️‼️‼️.”
