Protoje Releases New Visuals For ‘In Bloom’ With Lila Iké

Protoje has officially released new visuals for his single In Bloom featuring Lila Iké. The single appears on the Reggae singer’s fifth studio album In Search Of Lost Time, which debuted last month on August 28.

Produced by Natural High, Habibi, and Yannick Reid, the two artistes appear in a simplistic yet creative visualizer on a single set. Protoje and Lila take turns in versing the song along a wide hallway under red psychedelic lighting, which sporadically flicks in and out to find them at different ranges and varying stances.

In Bloom is a smooth, syrupy love song, posing the two singers as lovers while they indulge in an affectionate exchange. “Never find a better place to be than wrapped up in your time, cant seem to go without the thought of being all up in your life. Hold me down don’t ever let me leave this part of your design … I’m right here for you,” they sing together for a part of the song.

Protoje and Lila’s union makes a terrific fusion, the match of their vocal tones and cadences are impeccable and sweet sounding. This is certainly not the first time the two have collaborated together. They’ve voiced on other singles in the past, such as Not Another Word featuring Agent Sasco in 2019 and Flight Plans prior.

Lila also appears in the visualizer for Protoje’s single Self Defense, which is another new track off his new album, In Search Of Lost Time. Other collaborations on the 10-track album include the Grammy Kid, Koffee, the Unruly Boss, Popcaan, and American rapper, Wiz Khalifa.
