Govana Shows Off Daddy Duties In New IG Photo

It seems there’s nothing Jamaican dancehall sensation Govana loves more than daddy duty.

The singer posted a photo of himself and his son on Instagram yesterday with the caption “Unbothered and Undefeated.”

In the photo, Govana is seen smiling lovingly at the toddler in what appears to be his living room, where he was clearly enjoying daddy duties.

Govana was neatly clad in a white shirt, blue jeans, and matching Clarks. His outfit was complemented by a gold watch and gold chains, and his hair was in plaits. His young son, on the other hand, was dressed in a gray shirt, blue shorts, and his hair was in ‘chiney bumps.’

“Nuh him Juss born wah day yah.” One fan stated. Several other fans posted compliments as well. “Idk why, but I really like this photo…Now I know why Govi a push he self….Tha lil Youth right deh a the man reason fi guh hard.”

“Best baby father in a Jamaica,” added another.

Govana, whose real name is Romeo Nelson, has often been described as the ‘gentle giant of dancehall’ with such tracks as Cups Up, Loyalty, Champ, Bake Bean, Gyal Clown, and Unanswered featuring Tarrus Riley.

Govana had his first number one hit, Run Road, back in 2012 with dancehall veteran Aidonia. He’s also done collaborations with the WiN singer Jada Kingdom and dancehall sweetheart Koffee on the remix for Rapture.
