Gold Gad Drops Another Scammer Track ‘Chop Chop’ Featuring Dydy: Watch

Dancehall artiste Gold Gad continues to push boundaries as he not only drops another scammer track, Chop Chop, but has also added a mainstream flare. The new single and music video, which hit streaming yesterday features New York-based Jamaican singer Dyrana, most popularly known by her stage name, Dydy.

Produced by Todd Talent Entertainment, Gold Gad is now the kingpin of a mega scamming operation, looking like a boss and flaunting full bottles of top-shelf Hennessy. His chief musketeer, Dydy is on the ground overseeing inventory, she reports all the sublets are producing well while delivering the hook of the track: “Sav man dem ah chop, Mobay man dem ah chop, Sainty man dem ah chop, Falmouth man, chop chop chop! Kingston man ah chop, Ochi man dem, dem ah chop, Portmore man, ah chop, Spain man dem chop wid a b***.”

Gold Gad does his usual negotiations on his banger phone, also bragging the scamming dexterities of his squad. “Mobay yeah we know to finesse simply have the styling. Ochi a take di money out a yuh hand without the violence. Kingston man dem lock di game we lock the timing, nah fi talk bout Sainty, Clarendon dem man nuh smiling,” he sings.

The RD Studios directed music video has the duo that is Gold Gad and Dydy taking us through vivid visuals of the ‘chopping’ experience. There, half-naked ladies load up wads of cash in duffle bags and cardboard boxes. Eventually Dydy is on the move heading to a club, to ‘shell down the place,’ (i.e. to spend lots of cash), as she can be seen doing – Watch more here.

The single’s riddim was mix and mastered by Dre Day and seems to be doing well with YouTube audiences. Since its release yesterday, Chop Chop has more than 113k views, 15k Likes and over 1.2k positive fan feedback.
