Dancehall artiste Jahmiel has delivered for his fans with his new single entitled, Return, which officially debuted yesterday (August 7) via YouTube.

It was just two weeks ago that he previewed a short version of the song on Instagram, fiercely spitting the lyrics of truth and rounding up a horde of fan reaction. The Patriotz boss stockpiled more than 47k views within 15 hours of the IG post that is now sitting on over 68.5k views and 1.7k+ raving comments.

It’s a no-brainer that he not only completed the track but also added an accompanying music video in jet speed. That’s also what happens when you’re the CEO for your own record label, Patriotz Muzik, and rub shoulders with State Gangster Records to which credit is due for this latest music production.

In the single, the Great Man deejay seems quite fed up with the deceit that not only surrounds him but also others. “Nah take di brainwash, f*ck dem information/ Me nuh business bout promotion, me nuh care bout chart, me just ah talk how me feel, me ah keep it real. As a musician me deh yah fi mek people heal,” he sings.

As he continues, the deejay reveals that these same people also want to see him disappear, saying, “Me know dem after me head, know dem wah see me dead, know dem ah do a bag ah tings fi f*ck up mi meds,”

But then he let’s them know, his name is not just Jahmiel for no reason, “Ah Jah give me strength, yeah me see di pretence. Memba Jah inna me name, me mek the devil repent…Ah nuff lose dem way, but me nah stop pray.” Affirming that he will always land on top with Jah by his side.

The very simple music video is just one take, which finds the Strongest Soldier artiste ripping through his lyrics, dressing is a quite suitable, militant-style trench coat as his crew stands parted along a narrow passageway in a residential neighbourhood.
