It could be her “chameleon nature and personal blend of crazy”, her fashion sense, creative style, or undeniable ability to enthrall onlookers during a performance, but one thing is sure, Anna Mariah is no average talent, and the possibilities are endless for this ball of fire.

The Sail Away Queen first gained popularity in 2015 after placing third in season 12 of the popular Jamaican Competition Digicel Rising Star with her dynamic vocals and commanding presence.

She later started working alongside artistes such as Konshens, Denyque, J Capri, Ras-I, among others, as a background vocalist.

“I think it’s safe to say that my experience on Digicel Rising Stars is what really gave me the courage I needed, to step out on my own”

The upcoming artiste says she is now a part of a production house called LEB Studios, which has been creating, shooting & editing music videos along with other content for creatives like Christopher Martin, Javada, Chevaughn, Elly B and herself.

“Teamwork makes the dream work, so huge thanks to TMMG for a great partnership with LEB Studios.”

With her sexy, island gyal swag and a personal style that can sometimes be attributed to her stylist BRU, Anna Mariah is pumped about dropping new music in August and hopefully doing some collabs.

“…I would definitely collab with Dexta Daps & Jada Kingdom. They are my favorite voices to listen right now. They serve passionate vocals with very intriguing topics on the side…Delicioso…My latest work drops August 2020, but my instagram page is open 24/7. So come on over, say hi, and let me know DancehallMag brought you here.”

The self-described Tom Boy, who started singing at age eight at the Corinaldi Avenue Primary School in Montego-Bay, says she wants to be most remembered for her expressive nature.

“Being able to express myself by sharing my music, style, personality etc. is such a blessing. I love seeing other humans, not just creatives, just be themselves. It’s powerful, the energy that creates.”
