Ras-I Making Strides With The ‘Know Herb’ Steamix Ahead Of Second Album
Immanuel Kerr, more popularly known as Ras-I, says he is on schedule to release more visuals and singles from a second album. His latest single Know Herb Steamix from his debut album Tsojourna, is just a taste he says of his upcoming second album Kingman Ting which he says ‘shall be lovely and refreshing’.
Starting out as a beat maker for quite a few established labels Ten years ago, Ras –I gradually moved to starting his own label, Ras-I Musique, as a producer, and continues to share his love for reggae music through his voice.
“My sound is what I find to be most unique as it is heavily roots-based with a splash of jazz and other genres… The biggest thing for me to date would be completion and release of my debut album Tsojourna” he told DancehallMag.
There is much on the horizon for Ras–I who is always seeking new ways for continuous growth and upliftment for reggae music.
The artiste said he has worked with Masicka, Denyque, Blvk H3ro, Jesse Royal, and Kabaka Pyramid to name a few and performed on some major festivals in Jamaica, including Rebel Salute, Sumfest, and St.Mary Mi Come From.
