On the heels of being featured in dancehall artiste Skillibeng’s latest music video, Jamaica’s Ghetto Michael Jackson said he will be taking on the music industry dropping a single of his own sometime later this month.

Ghetto MJ, whose real name is Akeem Walker, 21, burst on to the social media scene in late May 2020 and has been heating up platforms like Instagram, where he has been showcasing his Jackson inspired moves.

While initially, it seemed that he was just going to be a dancer, according to his manager Wessy Wessy he is a “triple threat”.

Wessy Wessy told the STAR that his talent was not only a good dancer but a skilled singer with a knack for acting.

According to Walker’s manager, the dancer’s soon to be released single, “Can I get a pic” was inspired by the public reaction to the entertainer who recently burst on to the scene.

Wessy Wessy told the Jamaica Star that just about everyone wants their picture taken with the Ghetto Michael Jackson.

Wessy Wessy further told the publication the single is only the beginning of his client’s music career.

While his music career is not yet walking on the moon, he has already become the victim of scammers.

The internet sensation who is becoming known for his signature slang “hee-who” has a myriad of people already purporting to be him, with manager Wessy Wessy already having to do damage control.

The 21-year-old who personifies the late King of Pop Michael Jackson hails from the community of parish of Portland.
