Danny English, formerly of the Duo Danny English and Egg Nog, has proven himself as an artiste for all times with his vibrancy and versatility as shown in his 19-year long music career.

The artiste has a track record worthy of note with musical performances at popular staging such as Sumfest, Sting, Champion In Action, Camp Fire, Irie Jambore, College Shows, Sean Paul’s Album Launch, in addition to shows in London, Birmingham, Japan, Canada, and the Caribbean.

He broadened his horizons into the international market place with his Billboard Top 100 hit Meet Me At Di Party on the Diwali Riddim and throughout his career, he has rubbed shoulders with the dancehall greats of today.

Danny English told DancehallMag he is now looking forward to bigger and brighter projects for his career and working with all the major producers and promoters.

His recorded single, “Big up Weh Yuh Come From” on the Kingston 13 Riddim is gaining traction both locally and Internationally on various social platforms and Radio Stations.

Born Donald Cox, in the parish of Kingston at a very young age, whilst listening to veterans artiste such as Shabba Ranks, Buju Banton, Beres Hammond, Shaggy and Tuffy Melody, he developed a love for music which resulted in him pursuing music at the Camperdown High School, where he was enrolled.

Small Voice, born Joel Channer in Kingston, Jamaica, started his career as a sound system Disc Jockey with a deep love and appreciation for music.

An instrumental part of the Coppershot sound system team for more than 12 years, Small Voice was a force behind the sound system receiving The Sound of the  Year award in 2010 in Jamaica.

For him, transitioning from a sound DJ to a dancehall performing artist was quite easy, as his lyrical skills were up to standard, and his ability to perform for large audiences locally and abroad was always commendable.

He has recorded several songs on the Coppershot label, Jamlive Music and Pressure Dem Records. Most notable are “Steady Wine ft QQ on the Jafrican Riddim for Coppershot, “Stun Dem Dance on the 110 riddim”, “Lock Di Shop on the twister riddim” and  Big Up Weh Yuh Come From on the kingston 13 riddim” for jamlive music/pressure dem records.

According to Artist’s management team, Big Up Wey Yuh Come From, is a tribute to Jamaica and Jamaicans worldwide and has been reissued specifically for this year’s 2020 Emancipation/Independence celebration.
