Who is this Tommy Lee Sparta? That’s the question on everyone’s lips after the deejay known for his hardcore lyrics switched things up and sang John Legend’s 2013 hit All of Me in honor of his mother on her birthday.

Tommy Lee posted a 30-second long video to his Instagram on Thursday (June 25) in which he shares birthday greeting for his mom – who he affectionately calls Mommy J, and sings for her.

“Today is the birthday of a beautiful soul who has dedicated her life to her family, mommy J,” said Tommy Lee on the social media platform.

“We all love and appreciate you mom so am dedicating this beautiful ballet to you an all the mothers around the world, “added Tommy Lee.

Other fans encouraged the Rich Badness deejay to show more of his soulful side in his music. “Big up yourself mi g different part a the man a so it go you have to release them part a the soul sometimes,” said one user.

However, Tommy Lee Sparta’s gentler side seems reserved only for his mother as the deejay, a couple of hours later, dropped the official video for Tattoo and it was back to his usual goth-style.
