Vybz Kartel’s ‘Not Ok’ Rock Song Hilariously Trolled On Twitter
It’s not often that Worl’ Boss comes in for ridicule from his causal fans but it seems they just couldn’t help themselves following the release of Not Ok, a rock ballad on May 30.
Loyal GAZA fans were, of course, supportive of Not Ok to the point of anger when the song did not ‘trend’ on YouTube as expected. Kartel responded to their disgruntled concerns, by saying he was now “bigger” than YouTube trending.
Other fans were more curious to hear what the song, dubbed ‘glock rock’, would sound like. At first, the reactions seemed positive but eventually, fans started to criticize the production of the track. Many of them questioned if Kartel was tricked by Short Boss Muzik because the quality seemed poor.
Kartel is known for not being afraid of the spotlight or criticism, and probably just wanted to shake things up and try something different with the release.
Twitter fans have since gotten quite creative with their memes, the majority of which seem more in good fun rather than an actual attack on the artiste’s work.
As they poke fun at the Worl’ Boss the views keep climbing for the video on YouTube, which now stands at over 400 000 with many comments encouraging him to keep experimenting and creating unique music.
On Twitter, the #NotOK hashtag has been used by fans posting memes and GIFS describing how they feel about the song.
One user wrote, “And they say you can’t hear pictures”.

Most of these seem to be in good fun, with many fans still clearly impressed by the artiste’s range and his ability to generate new music even when that means jumping out of his comfort zone.
