Add expert fisherman to the list of accomplishments of soulful crooner Jah Cure.

The Reggae/Dancehall veteran took to Instagram to show off his fishing skills which he documented in a series of photos and video clips.

“My second love after music”, he captioned a post yesterday detailing the outing.

The first clip sees Jah Cure, whose real name is Siccature Alcock, bare-chested looking to head out to sea in Jamaica. He explains that he’s heading out to the ocean because even in these times of a coronavirus pandemic “nobody can cancel the ocean”. He also reveals that he intends to catch some “big ones”.

Cure then proceeds to team up with what looks like a professional fisherman living on the waterfront. Though he doesn’t show who pulled in the prize, the next clip shows him on the open ocean holding up a very big Mahi Mahi.

He proudly displays the fish saying it’s a “good catch” and once again explains that he believes fishing is necessary in these “covid times”.  Cure thanks the spirit of the ocean and “Jah Jah” for the catch.

The Royal Solider, who last released a video for Only You featuring Mya in December, then goes on to show his expert skill as he fillets the fish.  It’s clearly not his first time. In the next video clip, he shows the finished product as a small crowd gathers to marvel at his skill.

After skinning and filleting the fish it seems he heads home and cooks it down. The next video clip shows what looks like a well-seasoned pan-seared fish dish being made.

Fans were quick to praise the artiste for his skills, even though some didn’t agree with his cooking methods like this fan who said: “Noooo you fried the fish. You should bake with vegetables ,” and another who added: “frying out all d juices.”

Another fan was curious about what seasoning he used because it looked so delicious. That fan said: “Amazing looks fabulous what seasoning do you.put in you’re fish,” another added: “Lucky Man.”
