TeeJay And Moyann Collab On ‘Bruck Pocket Man’ Video: Watch
Rising female artiste, Moyann, is making sure her name is on the tip of everyone’s tongues. She has released her new single titled Bruck Pocket Man, which is a collaboration with the Uptop Boss, Teejay, of Romeich Entertainment.
The single which was released on January 23, was produced by DJ Frass Records and now has over 45,000 views, occupying the number 10 spot on the Jamaican YouTube trending list.
The song was dropped along with a music video and sees Moyann sporting a colorful, form-fitting bodysuit as she announces “Nuh gyal nuh wah nuh bruck pocket man, nuh gyal nuh wah no bruck pocket man.” Teejay is seen donning a gold and black suit, seated in a throne as he agrees with Moyann that she is worth a man who can give her the finest things in life, “yuh nuh chicken head, nuh tek style from nuh man. Yuh get the key, hype pan a gyal.”
Bruck Pocket Man follows a similar theme to which Moyann generally sings about – financial independence, always dressing in name brand clothing, and being every man’s dream girl. The talented young star released A Nuh My style That in November of 2019 which also encourages women to be self-sufficient.
Known for promoting these characteristics through her songs, she has generated a loyal fanbase of young women who relate to her music. One fan wrote, “The baddest song right now out of allllll😍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥”.
However, there are some who aren’t feeling the song’s message, as they believe it motivates women to use men for their money. Others believe the message is false, as there are many relationships in which a woman is with a man who is financially struggling.
A number of dancehall fans commented under the song’s video on YouTube, expressing their dislike for the track – “Anuh everybody ave money n this song only a encourage u girl fi cheat n left u 🙄 Big F***ry song this cheap… like if u agree 👇💯🔥.” Another person said, “who choose di topic ya, song lame cuz of topic,,,,,moyann be careful if yuh want a good buss, we all ina a third world dawg.”
With both positive and critical reviews taken into consideration, Bruck Pocket Man appears to be another solid track from Moyann, who has been making steady progress in the music business. The Netflixxx N Chill singer has been associating herself with the Romeich Entertainment camp more closely in recent months and so we can certainly expect her career to continue its elevation based on the track record of Romeich Entertainment – home to some of Dancehall’s leading artistes, Shenseea, Ding Dong and Teejay.
