Kiprich had a bumper 2019 when his song ‘Assurance’ was featured in a television commercial for the new Rouge Cordless Flat Iron by Korean-American beauty giant, KISS. It was a sure sign that his career was about to elevate to a next level as KISS is the world’s largest manufacturer and distributor of professional beauty products.

It was one of the tracks that he put down in 2019 that reminded Dancehall of his unique skill. The song was released by Natural Bridge Records label in February 2019. He ended the year strong to packed arenas in Guyana and England.

He’s revealed that he will be working on a new album which will feature 12 songs and hasn’t been given a title just yet. It will also include a bonus track called ‘Spanish Angel’.

Kiprich recently sat down with the Jamaica Star to tell them a little bit about the upcoming album. He said that he would be working with some of the big named producers in the genre: “I will be working with producers such as Sly and Robbie, Christopher Birch, Kirkledove, and newcomers like Kalfani on this project. I plan to do the album and shop it as a finished product to several labels for distribution before summer,” he said.

He also said that he was grateful for the response that he has been getting for his single recently but added he wanted to take time to focus on his one drop album.
Some of the songs include Mama’s Boy, Win and Change Your Ways.

“The response to Win has been phenomenal, with over 270,000 views since the video hit YouTube. Now I am turning my attention towards the one-drop album I am working on. I did a cover of the Spanish Angel song with a twist, which is a new vibe for me,” KipRich said.

He also has some singles out like, Dancehall Gallis and Call Di Lawd to keep his fans appeased.

Kiprich, was once known as Crazy Kid and was mentored by the ‘Energy God’ Elephant Man. He was also once a member of The Alliance, a group of Gangsta-themed deejays.

Born in St. Catherine, his first major hit was Leggo Di Bwoi, which was a collaboration with Chino. Kiprich has also written for Elephant Man. He wrote the lyrics for Elephant Man’s “Jook Gal”. He’s also not afraid of poking fun at the industry’s top names like his song “Talk”, which he put out for Elephant Man, Beenie Man, and Vybz Kartel. He had another one called Ca’an Get Brown, which was aimed at Vybz Kartel.

This album will be his third as he released Outta Road in 2005 and Drama King in 2008.
